Is there any chance we can have his recipe for the chicken wellington as it sounds sublime, but we were spoiled for choice, and we might not be able to get back to try it.

This is my favourite restaurant (and I'm including the UK, not just Spain). The variety of standard of food is excellent (well done Lee) - you can just taste the passion! Coming here is the highlight of our year trips to Spain. Keep up the good work guys!

We were first time visitors last Saturday for my Birthday lunch. It was all so lovely and my daughter who is celiac was able to have a beautiful meal too. We will definitely be back again. The new menu looks fabulous.
We were some of the first timers and after waiting 3 months for a table you didnt disappoint. The food was amazing and ut was great to experience Los Lucas at last. Look forward to tasting the new menu in a few months xx

We ate at your restaurant last night with friends and we just wanted to say thank you and tell you how AMAZING we thought the whole experience was. The food was fantastic. Everything about it was delicious. The vegetables we had to accompany our meal were just wonderful. I had one of the chicken dishes and it was so tasty. I once ate a similar dish in a Michelin starred restaurant in Mayfair as a special anniversary occasion and I've never forgotten it......your dish last night was just as good and it's another meal I won't forget. The service was so good, friendly and helpful and professional with nothing too much trouble. Thank you xxx

Lunch today for two and our first visit. I can honestly say that this was a lovely experience, in a relaxed environment with a friendly atmosphere, where we were made to feel very valued customers, beautiful setting and views with delicious food and welcoming hosts. The food was very well presented, very tasty & of great quality. Would highly recommend and we can't wait to come back.
This is was our first visit to Los Lucas and certainly will not be our last. Peter was very welcoming and we were served our drinks very quickly. An amazing choice of food on offer, hard to decide what to order. The risotto was full of flavour and had so much cheese on it … massive portion too. Mains were enjoyed by all parties, I had sea bass which was delicious. Everyone enjoyed their pudding, again really big portions and delicious.
I would highly recommend a visit if you are in the area.
Went for lunch and it was amazing so good I wish I had two starters , great atmosphere fantastic food and deserts to die for great hosts and so glad we met Rufus . Great work guys

A hidden gem with wonderful food and perfect service.
Beautiful setting, with dramatic views and a boutique feel. From the second you push open the heavy original door, the welcome is warm and the hospitality top notch. The best way to describe the vibe is as a tranquil enclave, busy with happy guests chatting away over their meals, but still peaceful given the setting and stylish design. The service is attentive but not intrusive and the food was fantastic, varied and tasty, as well as good value. Liaising with Peter ahead of the booking was also individual and helpful, (getting back to me with first refusal on a cancellation as they were fully booked when I enquired).

This place is amazing, it’s out in the sticks, the views are amazing as well. We had a lovely lunch, the service was excellent, if you like quality food then you will like this restaurant.
We had two fantastic meals, the staff are absolutely fantastic nothing to much trouble, made us feel very special. The views are to die for. We also stayed in the 2 bed accommodation which was exceptional, probably the best place we have ever stayed. A massive thank you to Peter and Leigh for making our stay so perfect.
An evening of African themed food was unbelievable. Extensive choice at every course to satisfy the most discerning gourmet. As usual excellent food in abundance served by the very attentive friendly staff.
A thoroughly enjoyable experience with a piece of home made wrapped fudge to take home.

Our friends (Wendy and Derek) were absolutely bowled over with both the restaurant and the food, and although they have been coming to Spain on holiday for a few years now they said that this was the best meal they have had over here (and far better than most in the UK).
You have excelled yourselves, and we look forward to our next visit.

Just had our weekend mini break at Los Lucas ....... already booked again. Food was as ALWAYS, absolutely amazing and impecable service !!!
Very nice food served in hot plates which is rare but perfect for us. Superb flavours in all dishes that we had. Lovely small wine selection with just the right amount of options for the dishes. Will be back!

Had an amazing meal tonight, we were looking forward to going and it exceeded expectations. A lovely venue, friendly service and amazing food. Highly recommended, we will certainly be going back.
We had joint significant birthdays in October this year and chose Restaurante Los Lucas to celebrate with 18 of our friends as it is our favourite restaurant in this area. From the outset the boys could not do enough for us – they helped us choose the menu, advised us as to what drinks to provide along with table configurations, considering the Covid restrictions in place at that time.
The day turned out to be spectacular and the weather even put on a good show for us, so we were able to enjoy the outside ambiance and views. The food was superb with all our guests (some who had never been there before) commenting on how delicious it was. Leigh is an excellent chef and Peter, along with his front of house staff did an amazing job of looking after us all. They even managed to accommodate some unexpected last-minute changes with grace and professionalism. All in all, it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience, and I can highly recommend this venue if you wish to celebrate something special – you won’t be disappointed. Their weekend menus, both day and night and their special theme nights are always of the highest quality. You need to book well in advance which is testament to their popularity and style.
We also stayed in their accommodation so that we could relax and enjoy the day without having to think about driving home. Their casitas are delightful and tastefully decorated, catering to your every requirement so if you want to enjoy a meal and avoid the drive home, it is well worth staying in one of them.

We have just stayed and eaten at the Restaurant and what a great experience. The food was excellent with a great chocie and really good value for money. We also stayed in one of the rental Casitas which was really nicely decorated and lovely and cosy and well worth the stay and enjoying the evening without having to drive back home.
We have already booked in for another of their Stay and Dine packages, cant wait.
Had yet another fabulous meal at Los Lucas. Always a firm favourite place to eat.
Attention to detail is second to none, only mentioned in passing it was hubby's birthday and we were presented with a wonderful cake to take home and enjoy with a cuppa (mainly because we were so stuffed to the gills and couldnt eat anymore lol).
The food was superb, we both had the Chinese Orange and Sesame Chicken which was served with noodles and lots of fresh veg. Mmmmmm

Absolutely first class in every department. Service, menu choice, food quality, beautiful surroundings & value for money. It's a rather difficult place to get to, but that's the magic of the place. We visited on a lunchtime (having booked some weeks ahead) & our friends had a dog with them & Los Lucas accommodated us with an outside table. A definite yes, we will be going there again. That's if we can get a booking due to its popularity

We ate at Los Lucas for the first time on Saturday for the Greek themed menu, the whole evening was so special. The food was to die for, simply gorgeous. The restaurant were so accommodating as my partner cannot eat cheese, his food was adapted perfectly. I cannot wait to make my next booking for a few weeks time, and am so glad that I booked a table for the Christmas themed menu.
We had a really lovely time at your Greek themed evening. We had the beef souvlaki and lamb kleftiko as our mains and they were absolutely delicious. The whole menu was great and offered a wide selection of tasty Greek inspired options. Thank you both.

Lunch today for 4 of us. I can honestly say that this was the best meal that we have had in Spain, in the 14 years that we have been coming to Almeria. The food was well presented, very tasty & of great quality. The service from Peter was excellent. He was welcoming & friendly but not intrusive. The value of this meal was exceptional.

We went to Los Lucas at lunchtime today for lunch celebrating their 5th birthday. An amazing menu & beautifully cooked. Everything was perfect even though they had no electricity, but still managed to create a great atmosphere & a perfect lunch, the pressure must have been great for Peter & Leigh but they carried it off like the professionals they are. Well done to you both, & congratulations on your 5 year success.

Visited the restaurant yesterday for the first time with friends, our first time. Had a fabulous meal in beautiful surroundings. The service was excellent and relaxing, allowed us to savour each course. Very good selection of drinks and very generous measures.
Spoke to other customers whilst there who are regulars and they told us they have never had a bad meal.

It was lovely to have an evening meal at Los Lucas. We have been several times for lunch, so the Asian night was a lovely change.
The service, food, and setting is so beautiful, but once the sun started to go down, Los Lucas twinkling lights came on and added another dimension to the ambience!! So beautiful!!

Just back from a very nice lunch with friends. Our welcome as always was very friendly and very relaxed. All protocols in place and food superb. As a bonus we had ordered our curry takeaway from Get Curried Away so that’s Saturday sorted as well. Life is good. Well done guys. Hope you get through these tough times and come out the other side as we always need a visit or two when we are over in Spain.

Had a great time here today. The location is beautiful and peaceful. We had a nice welcome and ordered drinks and food. The beetroot and goats cheese crostini was amazing as were the chicken skewers not forgetting the bread and breadsticks served with aioli.
The mains were stunning - chicken in tarragon sauce and fresh hake fillet with a Parmesan and parsley crust served with roasted lemon cherry tomatoes.
Portions are huge so we had to get our olive oil and lemon cake to takeaway!

We had the curry takeaway recently from the curry themed night, really lovely flavours, portion size was just right and chocolate brownie with chocolate sauce to finish.
All cooked fresh and ready at stated pick up time in individual packaging , will definitely have it again. First time seeing inside the restaurant, looks fab.
Our first time, location, food and staff were all perfect. We will definitely be back soon. Highly recommend.

Los Lucas is a lovely relaxing place to eat the food is delicious and well presented very friendly I didn’t want to leave!
Wow. We went with friends for a post Covid lockdown birthday meal, nearly an hour's drive each way to find ourselves parking on a dusty track in 35 degrees heat and I wasn't optimistic . How wrong can you be? The place is superb, the welcome the same. I was expecting a good Del Dia at the price but it was gastro pub quality with generous portion sizes. Every element of the meal was spot on from start to finish, I can't fault it and look forward to returning. 10/10
Our first visit to Los Lucas... what a lovely place. We ate on the terrace by the pool, under a shady awning with beautiful views - such a relaxing setting! The food was delicious and the service attentive and friendly. The portions are very generous (we couldn't even fit in a coffee!), so arrive hungry! A really lovely place xx

We went for the first time to celebrate my birthday last weekend and enjoyed an amazing Menu del Dia. The food was lovely and I had a wonderful surprise at the end of the meal when I was presented with a birthday cake, complete with candles! It was so thoughtful and we will definitely be going again.

We wanted to try the restaurant and because we enjoy a drink or three decided to stay over, even though we only live 30 mins away. We were greeted by Peter and shown into our overnight accommodation, which included a log burner with lots of wood and a continental breakfast ready for the next morning with tea, coffee, fruit, bread, jam, butter, water & milk - very welcoming. The restaurant was lovely and warm, nicely lit and we were seated near the log burner, bliss! My hubster had the prawn special and I had the salmon koftas for starters, they were both delicious, our mains were respectively the sea bass and the duck served with a lovely selection of vegetables, both dishes were superb and so succulent. We shared the pistachio cake with apricot sorbet and then a short while later the Spanish cheese board - we also shared two(!) bottles of a very silky Rioja. We had a fabulous meal, overnight stay and we bought a couple of Dandy Lion goodies, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place, Leigh's food is delicious, Peter is a lovely host and not forgetting Rufus who is just the most adorable dog! 5 out of 5 💙

Peter and Leigh worked their socks off yesterday, and their hard work and determination pays dividends. The Christmas lunch was fantastic. And the red cabbage, wow. I don’t think Gary got a look in. As always the standard of food was second to none and very enjoyable. The goodie bag was full of treats 😋. Sadly we were too full to enjoy a mince pie. Enjoy your break and can’t wait for next year to enjoy more of the del dia and del noche delights.
Well another Christmas lunch at Los Lucas and yet again never fails to please. From the warm welcome when you arrive to seeing like minded friends dining there. We were seen to our table, given a plate of canapés with champagne, the table was dressed so beautifully and festive as to was the whole restaurant. If we had forgotten what we ordered there was a printed card with each persons name and lunch choices. Our starters arrive and the drink began to flow. Included in the price was unlimited wine and soft drinks - unbelievable. The main course was big enough to halt the most hearty of appetites. Traditional Turkey for me and so tender it was too. After a good rest the desserts came and my lemon tart was simply devine. Teas and coffees, liquors and a mince pie to end the meal. All for €49.95!! And if you are not convinced, we all came away with a goody bag with homemade Christmas cake, biscuits, fudge and a jar of chutney. Absolutely amazing. These guys have got it so right! Great restaurant, beautifully renovated, Peter a great host and Leigh a talented chef - both friendly and welcoming, the food is excellent both in taste and value for money and the setting is so scenic, peaceful and quiet - well worth a visit.
Thoroughly enjoyed our first evening meal there, plenty of choices, and we were not disappointed. Cosy, friendly atmosphere, but decided to move inside for dessert as the evening had turned chilly. Did hear someone ask for their vegetables to be cooked a little more than normal, and would also do the same on our next visit. A bit too al dente for our taste. Usually pass on dessert, but the sticky toffee pudding pudding with banana ice cream was superb! Would highly recommend a visit to this little gem.

Had a brilliant lunch here today. Excellent hospitality and cuisine. Very pretty setting. Be prepared to need to book about four weeks in advance in July and August because this place is so popular, but when things are so good, they are worth waiting for ! Highly recommend it, and we will be going back.

Well I have to say it, last nights North African themed menu was a complete success as far as I was concerned and our party of four enjoyed every flavoursome mouth from beginning to end. The baba ganoush was excellent, the mixed platter starter a delight especially the beetroot filo roll and as for the lamb with couscous it was cooked to perfection and the accompanying vegetables were just stunning. A clever platter of desserts suited us all and the wonderful textures and flavours were some to savour. A real dinning experience with lovely friendly staff, it is always a pleasure to visit. You must book early though this restaurant is in high demand and it is no wonder at this level and quality of food and service.
Beautifully located, lovely house and the food was fabulous. I only wish I could have sampled every dish on the buffet you put on for the Candle Making Demonstration because everything looked delicious. Perhaps next time I go back I will try fasting the day before so I have room to go back for seconds!!! Highly recommended.

As a regular visitor to this beautiful little Restaurant We are always impressed with the quality of the delicious food and the superb friendly service and, after dining there last night for Valentines, I also wanted to mention the little ‘extras’ Peter & Leigh often provide on these special occasions. Not only was the Restaurant decked out beautifully with lots of red hearts, subtle lighting and ‘love’ themed bits & bobs, but we also received tasty canopies and a glass of bubbly on arrival and cute little goody bags when we left (containing yummy sweets & home made chocolates ). The guys always go the extra mile to create ambience and make you feel like a special customer and we can’t recommend this gem of a place highly enough…please book in - you will not be disappointed…C&A

Nine of us went for a pre Christmas lunch and from the time we walked in the door we were made so welcome. We all chose different items and there was not one tiny bit of criticism between us, which is not bad for a three course meal. Extra touches of homemade mince pies and sachets of fudge was very unexpected but so very nice. The setting way up in the mountains is stunning. Well worth a visit and extremely good value. Probably best to make a reservation as it appears to be very popular

Visited today for lunch a first time visit for us and certainly won’t be our last already booked for Sunday lunch in January the food was delicious we bought three lots of chutney after hearing the man on the next table saying how delicious it was, and boy he wasn’t wrong Yummy everything was very reasonably priced in fact excellent value you will not be disappointed, we left with complimentary mince pies and homemade fudge each ❤️

After seeing this restaurant on TV we booked a table in August. We have a holiday home about 40 minutes drive away. This wasn't just somewhere to eat it was an experience. We were made to feel so welcome. The surroundings are stunning! The food was to die for! I am vegetarian and 3 of my party of 5 are very fussy eaters but there was something on the 3 course menu for everyone. My stayed until it went dark and lots of little lights came on, it was really magical! I really love this place and can't wait to return next year to show it off with other family members.

What a terrific night we had, sitting under the stars on top of a mountain. Sumptuous food and superb service. This little restaurant, although it had a limited menu, which I don't mind, had something for every taste bud. Three courses later, washed down with great wine, bubbly and beer the bill arrived and we were all pleasantly surprised. Probably the best restaurant i've been too for years....I'll be seeing real soon!

The decor is traditional and tasteful. Very relaxed atmosphere helped I must admit by the comfortable chairs! The set menu is sufficient to appeal to all and the food itself, well, just delicious and prettily presented. We were well looked after without being overwhelmed. All in all an excellent and tasteful restaurant which I hope to return to on my next visit.

Each course was beautiful but the sticky toffee pudding was absolutely to die for!!! Travelled 30 minutes to this gem of a restaurant, the saying that “ beautiful things come in small packages “ is how I would describe this restaurant, stunning food, smooth velvety House red wine for 7.50€ !!!! I can not fault this restaurant or the people, we like to travel around and try restaurants as a family and this has become top of our list, thank you for a beautiful evening !

We have visited Los Lucas several times both for lunch and dinner. The menu is always varied and is changed regularly, the food excellent and the service is good and friendly. Lovely views from the terrace. Both menus are reasonably priced and include a glass of wine. Booking is essential.

During the day the scenery is stunning and the tables outside by the pool are beautiful allowing us to spot an eagle soaring overhead, beautiful. Well, we visited this wonderful restaurant as a family of 3! (Our daughter is 10) THE best value for money menu del dia I have ever had! We experienced a warm welcome from the 2 people serving us and the food came piping hot and absolutely scrumptious, all for 12.95!! We can’t wait to go again to try this months menu del noche!

We saw Peter and Leigh on "A New life in the Sun" last year and as the whole place looked so lovely we decided to visit during a trip to Spain in March. We spent 3 nights in one of the rental properties and ate in the restaurant on the Saturday night. The acccomodation was fabulous, a traditional casita beautifully decorated and with everything you need for your stay and the meal we had in the restaurant was the hilight of our trip. Everything about the evening was very enjoyable, the restaurant is a lovely, relaxed place to eat, the food and service were both excellent and it was great value for money. Peter and Leigh were great hosts and if you like rural Spain, this is a lovely place to visit.

Having dined at Los Lucas on more than 2 or 3 occasions and at different times of the year I can say that the food and hospitality of Peter and Leigh and other staff also Rufus has been excellent. The food is delicous, always tastes fresh and plenty of it. The attention to detail whether it is Christmas, Valentine’s Day or someone’s birthday clients are always made welcome. The views from the outside terrace especially during the almond blossom time is stunning. A very special venue.

Saw this place on tv a while ago back in UK. It was on "the must" list. Well we certainly weren't disappointed. Very warm welcome. Lovely lovely food, atmosphere, presentation.......everything. Loved it. Even the guests on other tables were lovely too. Menu we are told changes every 4 weeks. I had calamari to start and husband chicken curry samosas. (We share share) My husbands main was the trout dish and mine the crusted pork chops. Scrummy isn't the best word to describe it. Gorgeous is probably better suited. Then we had apple and apricot crumble with custard. And my husband the chocolate cheesecake. All washed down with a large glass of red. Follow the directions they have put on trip advisor Q & A section and you won't go wrong. Enjoy. I know we did and will be returning.
We had heard about Los Lucas quite some time ago, but had not had the opportunity to visit until today. We went for lunch with some very good friends, and although it was our first time we were greeted like old friends. The whole experience was very laid back, friendly, and with excellent food. One very small niggle was that some of the Calamari was a bit chewy, but most of it was delicious. We would highly recommend it, and will certainly return many times.
Dined at Los Lucas with family for a pre Christmas lunch. The meal was wonderful at every course and the surroundings were very festive. The service was exemplary and as I'm Coeliac, attention to detail was fantastic. I was given gluten free bread with my pate and the stuffing and gravy were g/f too. I even had Christmas pudding and a mince pie which I've never been able to have in a restaurant before ever ! I was blown away by their fantastic service and will look forwardd to going back there any time. No wonder it's always fully booked !
We went yesterday for lunch after it was recommended by more than one person we know. I can't compliment enough Peter and Lee for the amazing food and the care they take with each of theyr customers. Me and my partner used to be in the business back in England and we recognize the love and attention to detail behind every aspect of this beautiful restaurant. Sat outside yesterday in the sun, not bad for mid November. As ever the food was exceptional, especially the Moroccan Orange Chicken yum, and not to mention the filo Apple pie for dessert which was divine. We have eaten at this beautiful restaurant often. Four of us went on Saturday 4th Nov. One of our party has a hiatus hernia and Leigh and Peter went the extra mile by making sure her food didn’t have any of the seasonings she can’t tolerate, and also the service was excellent. My friend also commented on how the attractive rustic features added to the ambiance. It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening.
I'd been trying to book into the British-run Los Lucas for months with no success, how lucky was it to manage to make a reservation to celebrate my father's 93rd birthday! The food was fine (the vegetarian happily polished off her vegetable tart and then demolished a squash lasagne), the service was warm and friendly and a good time was had by all! Plans are being hatched to return for my birthday... Only downsides to consider: the challenge in finding the place on the hills, and also you don't get to appreciate what must surely be spectacular views if you go at night..
Looking forward our next visit in December/January. Great cuisine.

Our accommodation was at the excellent Cortijo Los Lucas which adjoins this restaurant. We stayed there for a week with friends and had two excellent meals here. The restaurant is open at weekends only and had it been open all week we would have been back for more! The food was amazingly good and the prices surprisingly reasonable. The atmosphere was relaxed and the service friendly. When we arrived we enjoyed a drink on the outside terrace as we took in the views and decided which meal to choose. What great memories we have to look back on now!
Thank you to Peter and Leigh who have, yet again, produced a beautiful meal. Every time we come to Spain we visit Los Lucas and are never disappointed. The food, service and ambience was amazing, and a special thank you for the Birthday cake (that we are still eating!).
When we have guests or just want an excellent meal with superb service this is our first choice - always! We've lived around here 9 months and this was our 7th visit... 8th coming up in a fortnight!!
Five of us went for lunch on Saturday. Food excellent, ambiance amazing, and the friendly service was all it should be. Having watched these two guys restore Los Lucas over the two winters the TVs programme was filmed it was good to enjoy the hospitality in surroundings which were so familiar. I felt it was like I had been before. Would recommend this place to anyone. Only 12 min. from Hercual Overa inland. Worth the journey. Scenery spectactual. Can just imagine it in Almond blossom time? Will try to visit then. Keep up the good work guys.
Visited today for the first time, warmly welcomed and a beautiful setting. The restaurant and outside terrace are really nice. The menu was really good with a brilliant choice to suit all tastes. Thoroughly enjoyed, sorry Peter we did not see you before we left but thank you and will definitely return
We ate here recently to celebrate Ann my partners 65th birthday.
We contacted las lucas, booked a really pretty table outside by the pool, ate some terrific food were treated to some great hospitality and they even came up with a neat birthday cake.
From beginning to end we couldnt fault anything.
We all chose a different starter main and dessert and all agreed we'd try each others meal next time.
No matter what ya'll gotta eat here.

We last went on the 28/7 for lunch, there were seven of us all eating differently, all of it was excellent - thank you for a lovely lunch, it was an early birthday meal, greatly enjoyed and appreciated. PG

First visit , lovely meal well presented and tasted lovely. Excellent value, well worth the trip from home in San Juan, will definitely come again, Peter was a very accommodating and attentive host.

We booked for Friday lunch and was so excited to go as my husband and I had watched the series of New Life in the Sun, the place was stunning and the food was outstanding, there was a good choice of courses. We was made so welcome and we was not rushed between courses. We would definitely go again and would recommend this restaurant. Thank you both for a lovely afternoon.
Excellent meal, excellent service, beautiful surroundings and views! Well worth the effort of finding this restaurant, but do it by day first as I did, because even then, with instructions on hand, I still overshot it twice! Will come back again, maybe try the Menu Del Noche this time!
This is probably the best value for money, combined with all round quality restaurant that I have EVER been to. The hosts are so appreciative of you going their and nothing is a problem. Extremely polite and cheerful, the service is awesome and the food is brilliant in quality and quantity. I feel I should not let everyone know how good this is as I do not want to have trouble booking a reservation in the future. The menu is changed regularly and there are several varied dishes available on each one. We live 35 kilometres away but this is well worth the drive. Give it a go, I don't think you can fail to be impressed.
No I'm sorry this just has to stop, you find a place that is fantastic to eat and people will want to tell all their friends, post on social media and just keep spreading the word. Well if that happens it will become impossible to book a table at this wonderful restaurant. So don't tell everyone! Wink wink! I had yet another visit today with family and friends and I was quite upset when it came to menu choice. I had seen the menu on-line and almost decided beforehand what I wanted to eat and when we got there, sat by the pool waiting to be seated at our table, we were told of 'today's specials' which threw me completely, I had a dilemma, which of all these delicious options do I choose. They all sounded scrumptious. In the end we all changed our minds and had the goats cheese soufflé which was heavenly. We all had a different main course and each was loving prepared and beautifully presented. I was so taken with my mackerel and it's accompaniment that I totally forgot what my other diners were eating. It was bliss. Portions are sensible and the mixed vegetables served 'al dente'. The quality of food cannot be surpassed in my humble opinion. This is fine dining. As for dessert, the choices are not too overwhelming. The flavour combinations work exquisitely. I had to force down all my chocolate sundae as it would have been rude to leave any, and all I will say is 'heavenly'. Now all this said, you might be forgiven in thinking the bill is going to break the bank, but believe me it won't. Such a reasonable cost for higher quality food, presentation and surroundings. If you do end up going, then I can guarantee you will want to go back! Their menu changes every two weeks and every now and then they have a special evening menu and a monthly roast. But keep an eye out on their Facebook page or website for more menu details. This restaurant is a gem and could easily become overwhelmed with bookings so you have been warned. If you want to get a booking, don't tell everyone....
Ok so third time here for the curry night, after Sunday lunch which was superb. Another triumph which to be honest was expected as the standard is stratospheric from Peter and Leigh, the Starters were fantastic and then the main course for me of Beef madras arrived with Sag Aloo and Dahl with naan bread. Dessert arrived and like all the desserts previously consumed they were to die for, of the group I was with it was clean plates all round. If you ever get the chance to dine here take it as the food is superb and so reasonably priced it's criminal.
Just returned to Spain and first thought was dinner at Los Lucas, never disappointed, thank you Leigh for accommodating George's gluten free diet makes eating out a dream. Thank you Peter for your great hospitality. See you again very soon.

My family and I have just returned from enjoying a fabulous lunch at Restaurante Los Lucus. What a lovely restaurant and a very pleasant surprise. The outside seating area is beautiful with magnificent views of the mountains and the restaurant has been renovated to be in keeping with the building and looks beautiful and it a very pleasant place to enjoy your meal. The food was absolutely delicious and our table of four all agreed. Beautifully presented, fresh ingredients perfectly cooked and fresh vegetables too, which had been missing in our area, until now.
The menu is well thought out and from our experience tasted as good as it sounded.
My daughter and I are gluten intolerant and both Peter and Lee were very accommodating to our needs, they send us a menu a few days prior and then adapted some of the meals to suit us. Being gluten free and not eating meat can often making eating out difficult but Peter and Lee made out dining experience thoroughly enjoyable. We shall definitely make this a regular place to eat. Thank you both.
This is certainly one of the best restaurants in the area,we went with friends for lunch yesterday & can certainly recommend it to anyone who is yet to try it. The menu was great & beautifully cooked, also great value. A very relaxing place to eat with great hosts & beautiful views from the terrace for pre meal drinks.
